This image shows part of the Theme Settings screen for AT Commerce, a responsive theme for Drupal 7 + Commerce module. This theme is awesome! It even allows you to easily select Google fonts for page title, main menu, block title, and more. Kudos to AdaptiveTheme.

Amazon redesign (Not sure why, but tumblr resized the last screenshot. Hopefully this one will look better)

What do you think of Amazon’s redesign? The header is cleaner. The product pages look the same though.

This email messages from Google looks so nice on my mobile phone. The simple, single-column layout and large text make it very legible. The body copy is wrapped in a div with the following style attributes:
style=”color:#111; font-size:12.8px; font-family:Arial,sans-serif; line-height:140%; padding:0 30px; max-width:600px; margin:auto;”
My mobile email app allows me to pinch and zoom, but with Google’s simple layout and styles, I don’t have to.
Furthermore, with the “max-width:600px” attribute, the email also looks great on my laptop.

Some schools are choosing WP over Drupal for this reason alone: WordPress core is much easier to update than Drupal core.
I’ve spoken with several university department content managers who don’t even have sFTP access to their own websites. In order to update Drupal core, they have to submit a service request to the university’s IT department.
Oftentimes, the IT department doesn’t know how to update Drupal, so we (the website vendor) must get a temporary VPN account to access their network and complete the update. In some cases, this process takes a week or longer.
In my opinion, Drupal is superior to WordPress in every way except for its update process. Granted, this is only a problem when we have to jump through hoops to get sFTP or SSH access.
Drupal 7’s ability to install and update modules from within admin is awesome and a huge step in the right direction. The only missing piece is the ability to update core from within admin.
With the addition of a WordPress-style “Update Automatically” button, updating Drupal 7 core would be quick, easy, and painless.

These should probably be checkboxes instead of a list. Nevertheless, smart of DrupalGardens to ask for a reason for exporting.

This is the first email I’ve received about Magento from PayPal since eBay announced the Magento acquisition. I wonder if eBay will keep MagentoGo as a separate product when they roll out  X Commerce.
